- ANNA CAPRI USED Bachmann F7A DCC, Proto 1000 F3B - Non Powered #23968
ANNA CAPRI USED Bachmann F7A DCC, Proto 1000 F3B - Non Powered #23968
Bachmann F7A Pennsylvania #9656A - Used, DCC
Proto 1000 F3B Pennsylvania #9502B - This is a non-powered unit
The F7A has knuckle couplers, working lights and two figures. The decoder is set to 96. We think this is from the Bachmann Plus range and has been matched with a Proto 1000 F3B. Pennsylvania did actually operate the two in combination as shown above.
EMD F-units were a line of diesel-electric locomotives produced between November 1939 and November 1960 by General Motors Electro-Motive Division and General Motors-Diesel Division. Final assembly for all F-units was at the GM-EMD plant at La Grange, Illinois and the GMDD plant in London, Ontario, Canada. They were sold to railroads throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico. F-units were sometimes known as “covered wagons”, due to the similarity in appearance of the roof of an F-unit to the canvas roof of a Conestoga wagon.
