The Special Buick Convertible Coupe was a rear-wheel drive car with a front mounted engine which Buick manufactured as one of their Series 40 vehicles made from 1936 to 1949, representing a pre-war age of elegant motoring.
Classed as a convertible/cabriolet with 4/5 seats, it came with two doors, a 3.8 litre engine and a 3-speed manual gearbox. An example sold at auction in the USA some years ago for $44,000 USD!
